Earlier on Saturday, Imran criticized Nawaz Sharif, the leader of his own Muslim League faction and a former prime minister, for speaking out against the Supreme Court panel hearing the case challenging the delay in holding elections.

Imran further asked the populace to take a position supporting the Constitution and the law for the nation’s benefit.

A few days earlier, speaking at a press conference from London, Nawaz stated his mistrust for the current bench, which is presided over by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial, and requested that the PTI case be heard in front of the entire court.

Imran claimed that a convicted fugitive was making choices, dictating what was desired and acceptable, and speaking against the Supreme Court bench while seated in London.

He cautioned that the nation would cease to be a place worth residing in if it did not stand up to preserve the Constitution and the law.

He added that his opponents await his imprisonment or disqualification before holding polls to ensure their easy triumph. Legal experts concurred that postponing elections for longer than 90 days constituted a breach of the Constitution.

Imran claimed that the authorities were going to great lengths to keep him out of the situation so that their NRO could be preserved.

He was skeptical that the current authorities would postpone holding elections past October.

He expressed alarm over the nation’s economic status and claimed that the country was entering a crisis. People in need have been committing suicide to obtain a bag of color.

The PTI leader emphasized the need for political stability in fostering economic growth and reiterated that conducting elections within the allotted time would provide the economy with a much-needed boost.

He claimed that the high leadership of the PML-N was refusing to accept the decision of the court hearing the election delay lawsuit.

The former prime minister claimed that their reluctance to accept the results was due to their concern over losing in the provinces of Punjab and Sindh.

He recalled Chief Justice Bandial’s suo motu notice against him (Khan), challenging Nawaz’s language against the judges.

“Even these judges decided against us. I made an election announcement. But the CJP took notice on its own and ruled against us, “He emphasized.

The fact that the courts opened at midnight bothers me the most, he remarked.
