According to reports, the tournament generated revenue of Rs5.62 billion this year. The amount distribution follows a sharing formula between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the PSL franchises. By the established protocol, the cricket board is entitled to receive a portion of the total revenue, precisely five percent. The remaining 95% of the payment is divided equally among the six franchises.
The earnings of the PCB for this year amount to Rs582.53 million, while each franchise earns Rs841.129 million.
This entity’s revenue sources comprise broadcasting, title sponsorship, gate receipts, and other rights. The most significant contributor to the gain is the television broadcasting agreement.
