Miami (AFP) – The WTA Visit declared plans Tuesday for a modified schedule structure that will prompt equivalent award cash at joined occasions with the ATP Visit throughout the following 10 years.

By 2027, a combined 1000- and 500-level WTA event with equal prize money would be achieved, and by 2033, a single-week non-combined event with the same goal would be completed.

The WTA will bring the total number of 1000-level tournaments to ten, with some lasting two weeks and drawing larger fields than Miami and Indian Wells.
