Imran Khan’s plan to undermine the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), according to Maryam Nawaz, senior vice president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), was thwarted on Sunday.

About the Khunjerab Pass’s reopening for trade between China and Pakistan after three years, I want to congratulate the leaders and the people of China and Pakistan.”

Ms. Nawaz stated that the friendship between Pakistan and China was further strengthened thanks to the efforts of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

She continued by saying that the opening of the Khunjerab Pass would make it possible to address the issues both countries faced.

Ms. Nawaz gushed appreciation for the PML-N leader over the CPEC while lamenting that if trade between the two nations continued at the “pace of the PML-N,” the general populace would not experience terrible economic troubles.

Ms. Nawaz criticized the PTI-led administration and claimed it had destroyed the CPEC. She criticized Mr. Khan for making “baseless charges” regarding the prevalence of corruption in the CPEC projects.

Imran Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), came under fire on Thursday from Maryam Nawaz, senior vice president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), who claimed that the institutions could not function at Imran Khan’s whim.

Ms. Nawaz corrected the deposed premier on Twitter, who wrote: “It is a weird comedy to see Imran adopting the name of the constitution even though he has been labeled as the certified abuser of the constitution.”
